About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious Chinese-Speaking Travel Sales & Experience Consultant to drive growth
across Chinese-speaking markets for our travel division. More than a sales agent, you will act as an
experiential storyteller and digital companion guiding high value travelers and established operators
through a seamless journey fully integrated with Chinaʼs native digital ecosystem WeChat, Alipay, and
Xiaohongshu etc)
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & B2B Partnerships
Market Outreach: Identify, engage, and close sales with independent travelers, high-net-worth
individuals, and established Chinese outbound travel operators.B2B Proposals: Structure and present clear, modular partner tariff kits to operators, highlighting
unique local cultural experiences and premium service standards.Inquiry Conversion: Convert loose, conversational customer inquiries into highly structured,
personalized travel proposals.
2. Digital Ecosystem & Tool Management
WeChat Operations: Manage all primary client communications professionally via WeChat Work
Enterprise).Interactive Itineraries: Utilize and maintain WeChat Mini-Programs to deliver interactive, mobile
optimized itineraries directly to clients.Frictionless Payments: Coordinate bookings using integrated cashless solutions Alipay and
WeChat Pay dynamic QR setups).AI Optimization: Ensure custom pitches and descriptions are structured semantically for easy
discovery by Chinese AI travel planning engines.
3. Customer Journey Support & Engagement
Pre-Trip Discovery: Collaborate with marketing to engage prospects on Xiaohongshu RED) and
Douyin using impactful visual storytelling and authentic traveler journals.Digital Concierge: Anchor a dedicated WeChat "Group Concierge" for every active booking
(comprising the guest, guide, and operations team) to provide real-time support.Proactive Updates: Keep guests informed with real-time digital alerts regarding weather, flights, or
route adjustments, pushing alternative solutions instantly.Post-Trip Loop: Assist guests in generating shareable media memories and guide them to leave
reviews on native platforms like Ctrip/Trip.com and Dianping.
Requirements & Qualifications
1. Language Mastery
Native or near-native fluency in Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) is
mandatory.Professional proficiency in English is required for internal coordination.
2. Sales Track Record
Minimum 2 years of experience in travel sales, luxury hospitality, or premium
client relationship management targeting Chinese clientele.
3. Ecosystem Expertise
Deep familiarity with the platforms mentioned above WeChat ecosystem,
payment gateways, and lifestyle/travel search engines).
4. Cultural Alignment
A deep appreciation for Nepalʼs cultural heritage and an understanding of the
modern Chinese travelerʼs shift toward relaxed pacing and goal-oriented niche experiences
(wellness, culture, photography).
5. Communication & Drive
Exceptional interpersonal skills to convey unique experiential travel
concepts easily. Must be a proactive self-starter who thrives in an agile, entrepreneurial
environment.
