Job Summary:
A Tour Planner is responsible for designing, organizing, and coordinating travel itineraries and tour packages for individuals, groups, and corporate clients. The role involves researching destinations, arranging transportation and accommodations, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring customers receive high-quality travel experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Tour Package Development
Design attractive domestic and international tour packages.
Develop customized travel itineraries based on client preferences and budgets.
Research destinations, attractions, accommodations, and activities.
Travel Coordination
Arrange transportation, hotel reservations, sightseeing, and other travel services.
Coordinate with airlines, hotels, transport providers, and local tour operators.
Ensure all bookings and travel documents are completed accurately.
Customer Service
Consult with clients to understand travel needs and expectations.
Provide recommendations on destinations, activities, and travel requirements.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally.
Supplier Management
Build and maintain relationships with hotels, travel agencies, transport providers, and guides.
Negotiate rates and service agreements to ensure competitive pricing.
Documentation and Compliance
Prepare travel vouchers, itineraries, invoices, and related documents.
Ensure compliance with travel regulations, visa requirements, and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of bookings and customer information.
Marketing Support
Assist in promoting tour packages through social media, websites, and travel fairs.
Analyze travel trends and customer feedback to improve tour offerings.
Budget and Cost Management
Prepare tour cost estimates and pricing structures.
Monitor expenses and profitability of tour packages.
Ensure tours are delivered within budget.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Prior experience in tour planning, travel operations, or customer service is preferred
