Job Summary

A Telecom Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications systems such as voice, data, and network services. The role ensures reliable communication services for customers and organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install telecom equipment (routers, switches, cables, antennas, towers, etc.)

• Perform testing and troubleshooting of network and communication systems

• Maintain and repair telecom infrastructure (fiber optics, wireless systems, transmission lines)

• Monitor network performance and identify faults

• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime

• Configure telecom devices and systems

• Ensure safety standards during installation and maintenance

• Provide on-site or remote technical support to customers

• Maintain documentation and service reports

• Coordinate with engineers and vendors for system upgrades

• Knowledge of FDG installation and maintenance 

Qualifications

• Electrical & electronics engineering/Diploma in electrical or  electronics /CTVT certificate in electrical

 Other Requirements

• Bike holder having valid license/ laptop
