Job Summary

The Senior Officer – Recovery is responsible for managing delinquent accounts, implementing recovery strategies, negotiating repayment arrangements, minimizing non-performing assets (NPAs), and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements. The role requires effective communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills to maximize debt recovery while maintaining positive customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with customers regarding overdue installments and outstanding payments.

• Contact customers through phone calls, emails, and field visits to recover pending dues.

• Maintain accurate records of recovery activities and customer communications.

• Negotiate repayment plans with customers when necessary.

• Coordinate with the Sales, Finance, and Legal departments for recovery cases.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly recovery reports.

• Monitor delinquent accounts and recommend appropriate recovery actions.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements during the recovery process.

• Handle repossession and legal recovery processes when required.

• Maintain professional relationships with customers while resolving payment issues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• Master's degree (MBA/MBS) is preferred.

• 3–5 years of experience in loan recovery, collections, credit operations, or banking.

• Experience in financial institutions or lending organizations is preferred.
