Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior PHP Full-Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in PHP frameworks, modern JavaScript technologies, RESTful APIs, database management, cloud deployment, and software architecture. This role requires strong technical leadership, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to mentor junior developers while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using Raw PHP 8.x and modern object-oriented programming principles.

2. Architect and optimize MySQL databases, including schema design, normalization, indexing, stored procedures, partitioning, and performance tuning.

3. Build responsive and interactive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 5, jQuery, AJAX, and Fetch API.

4. Deploy, configure, and maintain secure AWS infrastructure, including EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, SQS, and IAM.

5. Prepare comprehensive functional requirements, technical specifications, ER diagrams, API contracts, system flow diagrams, and wireframes before development begins.

6. Design and develop secure RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and webhook services.

7. Lead AI-assisted software development by creating effective prompts, defining AI coding standards, reviewing AI-generated code, and maintaining quality assurance processes.

8. Ensure application security by preventing vulnerabilities such as SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF, Session Hijacking, and Insecure Direct Object References (IDOR).

9. Optimize application performance through efficient database queries, caching strategies, and scalable system architecture.

10. Automate development workflows, including migration scripts, test scaffolding, API documentation, and deployment pipelines using AI-powered tools.

11. Configure and maintain Linux servers, including Nginx or Apache web servers and deployment environments.

12. Implement caching solutions using Redis or Memcached to improve application performance and scalability.

13. Collaborate with designers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

14. Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards and best practices.

15. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues while ensuring system reliability and maintainability.

Required Qualifications

1. 5+ years of professional experience in Raw PHP 8.x development (without framework dependency).

2. Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), namespaces, traits, interfaces, typed properties, and modern PHP features.

3. Advanced knowledge of MySQL, including schema design, indexing, query optimization, stored procedures, and database performance tuning.

4. Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, SQS, and IAM.

5. Strong front-end development skills using Bootstrap 5, jQuery, AJAX, Fetch API, HTML5, and CSS3.

6. Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs with well-documented API contracts.

7. Proficiency with Composer, Punit, Git, and GitHub Actions.

8. Experience with Redis or Memcached for caching and session management.

9. Good understanding of Linux/Bash environments and web server configuration (Apache/Nginx).

10. Strong knowledge of application security best practices and secure coding techniques.

11. Experience using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or equivalent in production environments.

12. Ability to review AI-generated code, identify security and architectural issues, and ensure production readiness.

13. Excellent technical documentation skills with experience producing design documents before development begins.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience designing and developing multi-tenant SaaS applications.

2. Experience integrating Elasticsearch for enterprise search functionality.

3. Knowledge of AWS CDK or Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

4. Experience building real-time applications using WebSocket’s or Long Polling.

5. Experience designing GraphQL APIs alongside REST APIs.

6. Knowledge of scalable, high-traffic application architecture and distributed systems.
