Job Description

A Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team, developing sales strategies, achieving revenue targets, and maintaining strong customer relationships. They oversee daily sales operations, monitor performance, and ensure business growth through effective planning and execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team

  • Set sales goals and monitor team performance

  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships

  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and budgets

  • Conduct sales meetings, training, and performance reviews

  • Coordinate with marketing and other departments

  • Handle customer complaints and resolve escalated issues

  • Monitor competitors and industry developments

  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives

  • Ensure achievement of monthly and annual sales targets


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

  • Proven experience in sales and sales management

  • Knowledge of CRM software and sales tools

  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs


Experience

  • Typically 3–5 years of experience in sales roles

  • Prior experience leading a sales team is preferred
