Job Summary
The Sales Assistant supports the sales team by assisting customers, processing sales orders, maintaining product displays, preparing sales documents, and ensuring excellent customer service. The role contributes to achieving sales targets while maintaining strong customer relationships and efficient sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
A. Sales & Inquiry Operations (Primary Focus)
Handle initial customer inquiries (primarily B2C)
Conduct basic requirement gathering and client communication
Prepare and share quotations in a timely manner
Maintain inquiry and sales tracking systems (Excel/CRM)
Support order processing (coordination, packing, dispatch follow-ups)
Track customer data, lead sources, and post-purchase insights
B. Marketing & Campaign Support
Conduct competitor tracking and basic market research
Assist in campaign execution (email marketing, social media coordination)
Assist in blog/content facilitation
Maintain marketing databases and reporting sheets
C. Design & Production Coordination
Assist in preparing initial mockups and basic customization files
Coordinate with design and production teams for print-ready outputs
Assist in documentation of samples (photos, videos, measurement records)
D. Logistics & Field Support
Coordinate sample drop-offs and pickups
Handle bill delivery, cheque collection, and deposits
Support inventory tracking and periodic stock counting
E. Content & Social Media Assistance (Secondary)
Assist in capturing product photos/videos when merchandise is ready
Support the Social Media Executive during content production
Occasionally assist as a presenter (low priority)
F. Administrative & Retention Support
Maintain documentation and reporting
Manage customer reviews and basic responses
Support client retention efforts (follow-ups, appreciation emails, SMS)
Maintain organized digital drive/database systems
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field (or +2 with relevant experience).
1–2 years of experience in sales, retail, or customer service is preferred.
Fresh graduates with strong communication skills may also apply.
