Job Summary

The Product Development Officer identifies market opportunities, develops new products, improves existing products, and ensures successful product launches. They conduct market research, analyze customer needs, coordinate product development activities, and monitor product performance throughout its lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement product strategies for commercial vehicle segments.

• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer surveys.

• Identify new product opportunities and recommend product enhancements.

• Manage the complete product lifecycle from concept to launch and phase-out.

• Coordinate with OEMs/manufacturers on product specifications, modifications, and technical requirements.

• Evaluate vehicle performance and recommend improvements based on market feedback.

• Monitor industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements.

• Prepare product positioning, pricing, and value proposition strategies.

• Support product launch activities and go-to-market plans.

• Conduct product training for sales, service, and dealer teams.

• Develop product presentations, technical documents, brochures, and sales tools.

• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, After-Sales, Service, and Spare Parts departments.

• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and homologation requirements.

• Lead the development and management of commercial vehicle products (trucks, buses, pickups, and special-purpose vehicles).

• Identify market opportunities and customer requirements.

• Coordinate with OEMs, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful product launches and lifecycle management.
