Job Summary:

The Procurement Manager is responsible for managing the organization’s purchasing activities, ensuring cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining quality standards, compliance, and timely delivery. The role involves supplier management, contract negotiation, strategic sourcing, and procurement process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead procurement operations to ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging, and chemicals.

• Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, legal requirements, company policies, and CSR standards.

• Forecast demand, monitor inventory levels, and control stock.

• Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers; negotiate contracts and monitor performance.

• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, government authorities, customs/excise departments, and banks.

• Handle Letter of Credit (LC) processing and customs clearance documentation.

• Monitor procurement performance, manage risks, and implement cost-saving initiatives.

• Lead, delegate, and monitor the procurement team against agreed targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred if any)

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management in manufacturing company.

• Proven experience in a Procurement Manager or similar leadership role.
