Job Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s day-to-day operational activities, ensuring efficient processes, effective resource utilization, quality service delivery, cost control, and achievement of operational targets. The role involves managing teams, coordinating across departments, monitoring performance, resolving operational issues, and continuously improving business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage daily operational activities.

• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and workflows.

• Ensure smooth coordination between departments and teams.

• Monitor operational performance against established KPIs and targets.

• Manage operational budgets, expenses, and resource allocation.

• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements.

• Ensure timely and effective delivery of products or services.

• Supervise, motivate, and evaluate operational staff.

• Develop work schedules and allocate responsibilities effectively.

• Monitor service quality and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

• Identify operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.

• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, contractors, and service providers where required.

• Maintain proper operational records, reports, and documentation.

• Prepare regular operational performance reports for senior management.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, health and safety standards, and applicable regulations.

• Handle operational complaints, conflicts, and escalated issues.

• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of operational employees.

• Lead initiatives for cost reduction, productivity improvement, and operational excellence.

• Coordinate business continuity and contingency plans.

• Perform other duties assigned by senior management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations Management, or a related field.

• Master’s degree/MBA is preferred.
