Job Summary

The Mechanical Incharge supervises the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems. They coordinate maintenance teams, ensure compliance with safety standards, minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation, inspection, and maintenance of heavy equipment, vehicles, and plant machinery.

• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.

• Supervise mechanical repairs and ensure quality work in accordance with manufacturer standards.

• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement of mechanical consumables.

• Collaborate with project, procurement, and logistics teams for equipment planning and deployment.

• Prepare regular maintenance and equipment status reports.

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental regulations, and maintenance procedures, including LOTO practices.

• Lead and guide the mechanical team while promoting a safe and efficient working environment.
