Job Summary
The Management and Health Technical Writer is responsible for researching, writing, editing, and reviewing technical, administrative, and healthcare-related documents. The role involves translating complex management and health information into clear, concise, and user-friendly content for reports, policies, proposals, manuals, training materials, research publications, and other technical documents. The writer collaborates with subject matter experts, healthcare professionals, and management teams to ensure high-quality documentation that meets organizational and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Research, write, edit, and proofread technical documents related to healthcare management and organizational operations.
Develop policies, procedures, guidelines, SOPs, manuals, and operational documentation.
Prepare technical reports, project reports, annual reports, concept notes, and donor reports.
Write grant proposals, funding applications, and project documentation.
Develop training materials, presentations, and educational content for healthcare and management programs.
Translate complex medical, public health, and management concepts into clear and understandable language.
Coordinate with healthcare professionals, project managers, researchers, and stakeholders to gather technical information.
Ensure documentation complies with healthcare regulations, organizational policies, and donor requirements.
Conduct literature reviews and synthesize evidence-based information.
Prepare monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) documentation.
Edit and format reports according to organizational and publication standards.
Maintain document version control and document management systems.
Support publication of research papers, case studies, newsletters, and knowledge products.
Review technical documents for accuracy, consistency, grammar, and formatting.
Stay updated on healthcare policies, management practices, and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Sciences, Nursing, Medicine, Pharmacy, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
Professional certification in Technical Writing, Medical Writing, or Project Management is an advantage.
Experience
0–1 years of experience in technical writing, medical writing, healthcare documentation, or management reporting.
