Job Description

Job Summary:

The HR Assistant supports the Human Resources department in daily administrative and operational tasks. The role involves maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, attendance tracking, and supporting employee engagement activities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in recruitment activities such as posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates.

  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.

  • Support onboarding and orientation processes for new employees.

  • Prepare HR documents including offer letters, appointment letters, and employee contracts.

  • Coordinate attendance, leave management, and payroll inputs.

  • Handle employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures.

  • Assist in organizing training sessions and employee engagement activities.

  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and company records.

  • Support compliance with company policies and labor laws.

  • Perform general administrative duties related to HR operations.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 0–2 years of experience in HR or administrative support.

  • Basic knowledge of HR processes and labor regulations.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.


Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with HR software or HRMS systems.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
