Job Summary

A Food and Beverage Service Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service in restaurants, hotels, cafés, or catering services by taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner

• Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverages

• Take accurate customer orders and communicate them to the kitchen/bar staff

• Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently

• Ensure tables are clean, organized, and properly set

• Check on customers regularly to ensure satisfaction

• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests politely

• Process bills and handle payments (cash, card, digital)

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the service area

• Assist in setting up and closing the restaurant or dining area

Required Qualifications

• Minimum high school education (hospitality training is an advantage)

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
