Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Female Venereologist to diagnose, treat, and manage sexually transmitted infections (STIs), venereal diseases, and related dermatological and reproductive health conditions. The ideal candidate should provide confidential, non-judgmental patient care and maintain high professional and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat sexually transmitted infections and venereal diseases.
Conduct patient consultations, medical history taking, and physical examinations.
Manage conditions such as syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, genital herpes, HPV, genital warts, and other STI-related conditions.
Perform or interpret relevant laboratory and diagnostic tests.
Provide appropriate medications and treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
Provide counseling on sexual health, STI prevention, safe sexual practices, and partner notification.
Maintain strict patient confidentiality and privacy.
Provide sensitive care to female patients experiencing intimate or reproductive health concerns.
Refer patients to gynecology, dermatology, infectious disease, or other specialists when required.
Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
Participate in health education, awareness, and STI prevention programs.
Follow infection-control procedures, clinical protocols, and applicable medical regulations.
Collaborate with nurses, laboratory staff, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
Stay updated on current guidelines, treatment protocols, and developments in venereology.
Required Qualifications
MD, MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
Postgraduate qualification/training in Dermatology & Venereology, Venereology, or a relevant specialty preferred/required according to the position.
Valid medical registration/license in the relevant jurisdiction.
Relevant clinical experience in venereology, dermatology, sexual health, or STI management.
Strong knowledge of STI diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and counseling.
