Job Description

Role Overview:

A fast-growing travel brand is looking for an experienced mountain operations professional to lead the adventure portfolio. This role combines field coordination, logistics, safety management, and product execution. It is ideal for someone who understands both the technical realities of high-altitude operations and the premium expectations of international B2B partners and clients.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Expedition & Climbing Oversight: Coordinate climbing logistics including guides/Sherpas, oxygen systems, permits, gear movement, basecamp setup, and summit support.

  • Trekking Product Management: Plan and cost trekking itineraries, balancing guest experience, operational feasibility, and profitability.

  • Logistics & Fleet Command: Manage end-to-end logistics including domestic flights, helicopter charters, ground transport, accommodations, and remote field staffing.

  • Safety & Crisis Management: Maintain strict safety standards, evacuation procedures, and real time emergency response systems.

  • Partner & Network Management: Build and manage relationships with guides, lodges, helicopter operators, transport providers, and regional partners.

  • Stakeholder Alignment: Coordinate closely with founders, field teams, and international B2B partners to ensure flawless execution.

What Weʼre Looking For:

  • 3 Years Experience: Proven track record in trekking, expedition, or adventure operations with a reputable Himalayan travel or mountaineering company.

  • High-Altitude Field Experience: Strong personal background in trekking, climbing, expedition support, or high-altitude environments. You must know the realities of thin air.

  • Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of Himalayan regions, expedition logistics, weather patterns, and altitude-related medical risks HAPE/HACE.

  • Commercial Sharpness: Direct experience managing logistics budgets, vendor negotiations, and itinerary costing
