Job Summary
The Corporate Sales Officer is responsible for driving B2B sales by acquiring new corporate customers and managing existing accounts for internet connectivity, leased lines, managed network solutions, cloud services, data center services, IP transit, and other enterprise ICT solutions. The role focuses on achieving revenue targets, building long-term client relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service while collaborating with technical and operations teams to ensure successful service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
Identify and acquire new corporate customers through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold calling.
Develop and execute sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Build a strong sales pipeline and manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
Conduct market research to identify emerging business opportunities and customer needs.
2. Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients and key decision-makers.
Conduct regular client meetings to understand business requirements and recommend suitable ICT solutions.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive account management.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional ISP and ICT services.
3. Sales & Solution Selling
Promote enterprise internet solutions, dedicated internet access, leased lines, MPLS, VPN, SD-WAN, managed Wi-Fi, cloud connectivity, IP transit, data center, and managed services.
Prepare customized proposals, quotations, and technical-commercial presentations.
Coordinate with pre-sales and technical teams to design customer-specific solutions.
Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and service agreements while maintaining company profitability.
Close sales and ensure timely execution of contracts.
4. Coordination & Service Delivery
Coordinate with engineering, operations, provisioning, and customer support teams to ensure timely installation and activation of services.
Monitor implementation progress and keep customers informed throughout the onboarding process.
Assist in resolving customer concerns by coordinating with relevant internal teams.
5. Reporting & Compliance
Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities in the CRM system.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and industry trends.
Ensure compliance with company policies, sales processes, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
MBA is an added advantage.
2–4 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the ISP, telecommunications, ICT, networking, cloud, or enterprise solutions industry.
