Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and hardworking Cook to join our restaurant kitchen team in Pokhara. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food according to the restaurant’s menu and standards while maintaining proper hygiene, quality, and cleanliness.

Key Responsibility

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, utensils, and cooking equipment.

• Follow food safety and proper food-handling practices.

• Monitor ingredients and inform the supervisor about stock requirements.

• Minimize food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.

• Coordinate with kitchen staff and service team during busy hours.

• Maintain an organized workstation and ensure cooking equipment is used safely.

• Follow instructions from the Head Chef/Kitchen Supervisor.

• Support other kitchen duties as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Cook in a restaurant, hotel, or similar kitchen environment preferred.

• Knowledge of Nepali, Indian, or other restaurant cuisines.

• Good understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen hygiene.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and during busy service hours.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.
