Job Summary

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will take full ownership of the daily operations, administration, and team management at our Kathmandu, Putalisadak office. Reporting directly to the executive leadership in Sydney, the COO will bridge the gap between global strategy and local execution. The ideal candidate will optimize the local student recruitment pipeline, ensure flawless visa documentation compliance, and manage local department heads to drive business growth in Nepal.

Key Responsibilities, Industry & Operational Expertise

• As a Senior Counselor or in a Senior Management role within a reputable education consultancy or multinational educational institution.

• Master's degree (MBA), BBA, International Relations, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of the international student recruitment process, admissions, and visa regulations for at least two of the following destinations: Australia, the UK, the USA, or Canada.

• Familiarity with Nepalese education policies and relevant legal frameworks.

• Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage teams, resolve conflicts, and drive performance through KPIs.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Nepali.

• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in education CRM systems, project management tools, and data analytics/reporting dashboards.

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment while maintaining high service standards.
