Job Summary

A Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate records of sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.

• Process cash, credit card, debit card, and digital payments accurately.

• Scan items and calculate totals using a point-of-sale (POS) system.

• Issue receipts, refunds, exchanges, and change as needed.

• Answer customer questions about products, prices, and store policies.

• Balance cash drawers and reconcile transactions at the end of shifts.
