Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Biomedical Technician to join our team. This role requires technical expertise in biomedical engineering, a solid understanding of IT and networking as they relate to digital medical devices, and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff in a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, set up, and calibrate medical equipment, such as X-ray machines, digital X-rays, ultrasound machines, ECG monitors, C-arms, TMT systems, and Holter monitors.

• Ensure all equipment is configured to meet operational standards and complies with medical safety protocols.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair technical issues on medical devices and digital medical equipment with a focus on safety and accuracy.

• Assist medical staff by explaining technical information about equipment operation and safety procedures.

• Provide guidance and training to healthcare professionals on the use of equipment, as needed.

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and technical issues, ensuring accurate documentation for compliance purposes.

• Ensure all equipment complies with regulatory standards and safety protocols, and report issues to management promptly.

• Resolve hardware and software issues related to medical devices and assist with IT-related troubleshooting when necessary.

• Note: Have to work inside and outside of Kathmandu valley

Required qualifications

• Required Education Level : Diploma Certificate

• Required Experience: More than 2 years in same field .

Other Specification

• Diploma or degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a related technical field as preferable.

• IT support or networking certifications are highly beneficial, especially for roles involving digital medical equipment.

• Strong familiarity with computer hardware, software troubleshooting, and basic networking.

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with medical devices such as X-ray machines, ultrasound machines, ECG, patient monitors, C-arm, TMT, and Holter monitors.

• Proficiency in English for understanding technical manuals, communicating with staff, and accurately documenting reports.

• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues precisely, ensuring equipment reliability and accuracy.

• Effective communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical medical staff.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards in a healthcare setting.
